India’s most coveted gourmet festival WORLD ON A PLATE returns for the fourth season on 19th & 20th Of January
During this season, we bring to you a once in a lifetime opportunity as we have Britain’s legendary Chef Marco Pierre White headlining it as well as making his culinary debut in India.
On this gourmand weekend, you will witness Chef Marco curating exclusive fine-dine dinner & brunch and 2 highly awaited masterclasses followed by tête-à-têtes. As part of the event, Chef White will also judge some of India’s top restaurants that compete for the coveted ‘World On A Plate Restaurant of the Year’ trophy.
Season 4 will also feature curated restaurant pop-ups by the city’s top restaurants, master classes by renowned master chefs, exclusive curated dinners & lunches, competitions amongst amateur chefs, awards given away by some of the world’s most influential culinary artists and much more. Proceeds from the festival will also go towards donating meals to 1,00,000 underprivileged kids (as pledged in association with HUG foundation).

Due to change in lifestyles, over a period of time, we have lost the significance of this Dhundur maas whose importance is slowly fading away. Aaswad wishes to revive this age old traditional food culture, preserve it, nurture it and promote it for the benefit and well-being of our young generation. We also wish to share the importance of these festivals which have scientific reasoning for every food that we consume its seasonal importance and its benefits on our mind and body. This is our sincere effort.
Last year when we introduced Dhundur Maas we got a tremendous response from all over. We welcomed guests coming in from Nasik, Pune, Aurangabad also to enjoy this Dhundur Maas Thali. We were overwhelmed with the great support and encouragement that this festivity received and hence wish to continue this legacy.
We have a sumptuous menu list comprising of Lemon-Honey Welcome drink, fresh brown berries, fresh green gram, Metkut rice with ghee, Amboli, Jwari and Bajri Pancake, lemon pickle, groundnuts and jaggery, sesame sweet pancake, curd and garlic chutney, fresh sugarcane pieces, dried dates kheer, etc.
