Corn kernels- 1 cup
Green chillies, finely chopped-1 to 2, as personal likes (optional)
Mayonnaise- 2 tbsp
Spring onions (only green part), chopped- 2 tbsp
Cheese, grated – 2/3 tbsp
Cream- 1 tbsp
Salt, pepper to taste
Mustard sauce- ½ tsp (optional)
Bread slices- as required
Fresh coriander or parsley- as required
Butter- as required
- Boil the corn kernels with salt, drain & cool. Combine the boiled corn kernels with mayonnaise, chopped spring onions, chopped chilies, thick cream, salt, pepper and mustard sauce.
- Cut the bread slices into round shape. Cut bread in round shape. Heat butter in pan, roast these bread pieces two sides. Put the corn mixture on each circle. Sprinkle a grated cheese on top.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven till circle are golden brown and bubbly. Garnish with coriander or parsley. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
