1 cup chole/ chickpeas, cooked with 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilly powder or paprika
1/4 cup onions finely chopped
2 tablespoons oil
For garnish:
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
coriander/ cilantro leaves finely chopped
1 green chilly finely chopped (optional)
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala or to taste
1 teaspoon lime juice or to taste

Method :

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil on medium heat and saute 1/4 cup of onions.
  • Add chilly powder and turmeric and mix well.
  • Add drained chickpeas and sauté well till spices coats. Adjust salt if needed.
  • Garnish with onions + cilantro + green chillies + chaat masala and lime juice.

Tip :I used paprika, so please adjust the spice level accordingly if using any other chilly powder.
