Ingredients:
Tamrind
Sugar
Salt to taste

Method:

  • Soak quarter kg tamarind in water for 3-4 hours, squeeze out and sieve the chunk from it, and then add half cup sugar and a pinch of salt, boil until it thickens.
  • Taste and adjust sugar according to your taste.

Note :I used gur / jiggery instead of sugar. No exact amount but as much as gur / jiggery to make the chutney sweet
